Motherhood: one definition
A time period in a woman's life, where she will walk through the day with randomly placed stickers on her shirt. They may be in the form of fruit brand (Chaquita) or monster trucks, or princesses, but all were placed there with love, from a small sharing hand... and usually forgotten about, until someone says "Do you know you have an apple sticker on your shirt?" The mother will look down, smile, and reply "yes......"

Diane, thank you so much... The stickers, marker nail polish, bite marks from an over-shared kiss- all so precious. It's good to know that you see it in a similar way :)
nice. I've often stated to my friends that a mother is someone that any child can approach with any item, regardless of 'sanitary condition or ick factor' and the mother will accept the item, holding it without cost or care until the bestower returns to fetch the item. I like yours, too.
