The joys of pregnancy

This time around, I am having some weird dreams. Last time around, I dreamt alot, but they were...err....good dreams. I'll leave it at that. But this time, they are frantic, or sad or anxiety filled. I wake up feeling completely exhausted. Between the dreaming, the getting up to go to the bathroom and the prolaxin loosening my hip joints so they are stiff and painful by the middle of the night, I feel just great!

I know it is all worth it, it is just strange having such a different experience this time around. Last night I dreamt it was a boy... we'll see. The Guyser keeps saying it is a "sister" when I ask...who knows!

I am a cliche...

Tonight I ate an ice cream cone...

Then polished off a jar of pickles...

I am SO pregnant.

Feeling wiped out....

So I thought in the second trimester, I was supposed to be feeling more energetic?! I am wiped. My legs ache a lot with this pregnancy and since Tylenol has never really worked for me, it isn't helping with the aches either. Maybe it would help if the Guyser wasn't a whopping 37-38 pounds and chasing and carrying him around takes its toll..... Maybe it is being another 2 years older than when I had him...I am just wiped. Life around here has been chaotic, and the house shows it. I sit here with my mental "to do" list and all I really want is to walk over to the empty couch and crash..... ahh, the dilemma... Our friends baby came about a month early last week, and they were not prepared. And I know it is a bit early to be worrying that I may go early (that is in fact a joke, since Guyser didn't want to come out at almost 42 weeks....) still, I there is so many organizing and cleaning things I need to do before I get bigger and more uncomfortable... I'll keep ya updated...

Here is the Hubby and I at last night's residency formal. If I am going to show the world my belly, I better look good doing it!! We had a fun time and got to dance, so it was a blast!

Hello from Wombland

I am finally getting around to posting these pictures. I had an ultrasound before I went to Saba, and didn't have time to scan them. So here they are. We did not find out Thing 2's gender, but it looked like a baby. Good to know it was human.... Today I am staring at the tiny bump under the "buns" in the second picture wondering if that is boy junk. Today, I want to know if it's a boy or a girl. I am sure the feeling will pass.... I dug out the Guyser's ultrasound picture, and his straight-on face picture, and the face picture of this baby are almost identical, which just means they both look like aliens with their hands under their chins! Still, kind of funny! I am 23 weeks now... it is going fast. I feel big and pregnant already, and that is kind of scary, since I have 16 weeks to go. Oh well, its all for a great reason!

I'm back

Hey All,
I made it back and I'M COLD!!!!!!!!! It is sub-zero here! I have been sorting through mail, laundry and trying to get back into the swing of things. My big guy made it back into my arms yesterday and I haven't wanted to stop hugging him! The bigger guy isn't bad either! ;) It is great to be back with my guys, but man its cold!

Another Day....

I spent the morning working on beads while Jo went diving. She saw a seahorse and I am SO jealous!! They are RARELY seen around here, but the girl that was diving with her got some pictures, so I will try to post one later. THis afternoon we took a drive and I shot video of the island. We didn't have a video camera when we lived here, so we thought it would be fun to show people some footage of the island. Anyway, here are some stills I took today.
